Smaller packaging

Example 1: Colour printer toner cartridges
In comparison to the predecessor the toner cartridge has been considerably reduced in size.

The advantages of the smaller size become more obvious when considering that 4.5 times as many cartridges now fit onto a palette. In other words: the new cartridge requires less material during production, less packaging material and less space for transport – which all ads up to lower CO2 emissions!

Example 2: Colour MFP bizhub C360/C280/C220

  • Konica Minolta always strives to reduce machine size and the number of parts required for construction.
  • This not only reduces CO2 consumption during production.
  • It also means that less space is needed for machine transport and storage so that one lorry can take more machines – which again helps save CO2.

Using the bizhub series C220/C280/C360 as an example, Konica Minolta reduced the packaging volume size by approx. 20%. in comparison to the predecessor.
