The Champions Trophy Women 2008 is being held in Monchengladbach, Germany from 17th to 25th May 2008. It is the last field hockey tournament before the Olympic Games and therefore the last chance for the participating teams to prepare themselves.
Participating nations are:
- Germany (Olympic Champion)
- Netherlands (World Champion)
- Australia (Second at World Championship)
- Argentina (South America Champion)
- China (Champions Challenge Winner)
- Japan (Asia Cup Winner)
